Before logging in for the first time, the candidates must register their account. A guide on how to do this is available HERE.
Once registered, they can log in and out of their account as many times as required until they complete the application form.
PLEASE NOTE: Once they have filled in and submitted the application form, it will be locked. Unless their application is rejected, they will not be able to log back in and amend their application or upload any new documents. You can tell if a candidate has submitted their application, as it will show as "New" on your client portal. Unsubmitted applications will show as "Requested".
If they have not yet submitted their application and attempt to log in incorrectly 3 times, they will be locked out of the application form for 5 minutes. They will see the below error message.
Once the 5 minutes has passed they can refresh the page and log back into the application form. This is to ensure security measures are in place.
They will also receive an email informing them they have been locked out of the application form and that they must wait 5 minutes before trying again.
Important Note: They MUST use the email address that the application form was emailed to. They CANNOT log in using any other email address.
Most blocked application forms are because of an incorrect password or the candidate is using the wrong email address. If they are continuously unable to log in, they can wait 5 minutes then reset their password. To do this, they must click the "forgot password" link on the login page.
Once they have clicked reset password, they will need to fill in their email address then click submit. They MUST use the same email address the application form was emailed to.
They will then receive an email with a reset password link. Please ask them to check their junk folder if this link hasn't come through. They can then open this link and complete the form. They must choose a password that fits the following criteria:
- Be at least 8 characters long
- Contain at least one number
- Contain at least one uppercase letter
- Contain at least one special character e.g. !, @ or #
Once they have chosen an acceptable password, they must click submit. They should then be able to log in to the application form.
