Once the screening starts, the file will be assigned to a screener who will contact the candidate and advise them of any documentation required.
Please inform your candidates that cooperation with our screening team will ensure their screening is completed quickly and efficiently, preventing any delays in starting their employment.
We must have TWO forms of documentation showing entry to the UK. Documents that we can accept to verify overseas arrival include:
- Passport stamps showing exit from the country they previously lived in
- Passport stamps showing entry to UK
- Travel documents e.g. train or plane tickets
- Proof of purchase of travel documents
- Employment documents from any employments they held overseas
- Education documents from any school/college/university they attended overseas
- Bank statements or utility bills from overseas
- If they are from Spain or Portugal they can obtain a work history document similar to the UK HMRC document from the Spanish or Portuguese government. Please contact the HMRC equivalent in these countries for further information.
- UK National Insurance letter - this must be the original copy first issued upon their arrival
- Biometric Residence permit first issued upon their arrival
- Home Office letters
- Written statement from the candidate advising how they were financially supported whilst waiting for their residence permit or National Insurance number
- Blank HMRC document
- National Insurance contributions document
